Our Service Areas

Philadelphia Transit is a non-profit transportation organization dedicated to serving the general public, including elderly and disabled individuals. It provides services across Neshoba, Lauderdale, Scott, Kemper, Newton, Leake, Clarke, and Winston Counties, as well as to medical facilities in the Jackson metropolitan area (Hinds, Rankin, and Madison Counties).

For non-emergency medical transportation, trip requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance and must be scheduled by 3:30 p.m. on the preceding business day.
Requests may be made up to two weeks in advance and are subject to availability. The dispatch office operates Monday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requests for Monday transportation must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. on the previous Friday. All transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. While every effort will be made to accommodate all requests, capacity constraints may affect scheduling.
